I’ve always loved school and the learning process. The military gave me the opportunity to obtain a journalism degree from the University of Maryland, College Park. I could not get enough of the college environment and went on to enroll in The George Washington University in Washington, DC. I earned a bachelor’s degree in business.

Self care is a new buzz work these days, so if I had to talk about a ritual. I would say, for me, it is music. I believe music is a gift to the planet. I’m so glad I live in a time when we can create musical playlists on our smart phones. We can download anything from classical to rhythm and blues, and I love listening on my bluetooth headphones.
